Triplet Privileges

Even though life is often times difficult because of the mere fact that we have multiples, there are other times that we do enjoy some nice benefits.

It seems like every time we go to the grocery store, there is a fire truck that is parked nearby. The boys LOVE fire trucks, so when they see one, they usually go absolutely insane! The other day, as we were getting out of the car, the firemen were getting into their truck. I guess they were so tickled by the choo-choo and all the boys, that they decided to drive their truck over to us. They then turned on the lights and the siren and waved to the boys, who were just clapping and squealing! As we made our way into the store, I noticed the truck circle around and out jumps one of the fireman, bringing each of the boys their own Junior Fire Chief hat, which they wore all through the store as I shopped. Those special guys really made the boys and my day!

Here they are playing in their new hats at home. Reid had a hat from when the firemen came to his school, so he joined the boys as they ran through the house making fire truck noises.

When Mommy's Away...

I left late yesterday afternoon to have my hair done. Now I know that my children are not always angels (although they usually are in public--thank God!), but for some reason they get into an INSANE amount of mischief when Daddy is watching/not watching them.

Here's what they did while I was gone.

They haven't messed with my plants in months, which is why they have all reappeared in their precious spots. In Daddy's defense, he was making dinner, which at least now he understands when I tell him that I haven't had a chance to start dinner some nights.

I am terribly afraid of what will happen tomorrow when I leave to get my Christmas shopping done. Maybe I won't come home.
